With our wardrobes turning from winter to spring at the moment, who better to learn about fashion trends than the experts. I’ve turned to Vogue, Cosmo and Harpers Bazaar to bring you a roundup of the latest fashion trends.
Yellow
According to Cosmopolitan, marigold yellow is going to be everywhere this summer. The fashion magazine said “sunny yellows lit up runway shows at Carolina Herrera, Oscar De La Renta, J. JS Lee and Brandon Maxwell."
Yellow is a tricky colour to wear for many skin tones, so how about adding in a nod to this trend instead?

Head to toe beige
Everyone is talking about this trend, but let’s face it, if Vogue says it’s so, it’s happening.
Head to toe beige may sound crazy but according to Vogue editors “this is how the internationally sleek will be wearing it”.
I would suggest adding in brushed gold accessories to make the look pop a bit and feel less monotone.

Leopard Print
It was everywhere during Autumn/Winter 18, and according to fashion website Who What Wear, leopard print is not going away.
“The runways—and the statistics that go with them—(show that) fashion's best friend is still very much at your side.”
According to their source, online searches for animal print have gone up 50% since this time last year, and designers such as Burberry, Gucci and Calvin Klein are continuing the trend this year.

Strong Tailoring
In line with the strong 80s/90s vibe we’re seeing everywhere in fashion at the moment, Harpers tells us that there is “a broader tailoring trend likely to change the way we dress this season. The industry is moving (towards) a sharper silhouette.”
This is an easy one to translate to everyday wear if you’re not up for a full on suit. Simply pair a tailored jacket with ripped jeans and accessories to soften the whole look.
Soften this structured look by adding in accessories
So whether you choose marigold yellow, or to strike a more subdued tone with full on neutrals; repeat the leopard print trend or don a tailored blazer on cooler summer days, you've got a mini summer fashion edit right here.
Just don't forget to accessorise!
